Life Abundantly
Jesus came to bring an abundance of life and joy to all men, which has always been the intention of God. When the Savior was born angels announced God’s purpose: peace on earth and good will toward men. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection God reconciled the world to Himself, dealing with the sin issue for all men everywhere in every generation. To the church, God’s family, a ministry of that reconciliation has been committed. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to speak the good news of God’s intentions and kingdom, to offer to men the life and blessing of the Almighty.
As believers we have a responsibility to be blessed. David proclaimed in Psalm 67:1-2, “God be gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine on us so that Your way would be known on the earth and Your salvation among all nations.” We invite you to join us is the journey from faith to faith, from glory to glory, as we are changed into the likeness of His Son. We do not live lives without trouble, but we intend to live life as He intended: growing and overcoming, becoming like Him in word and deed. This is a lofty goal, to be sure, but we are trust that the words of Gabriel to Mary are also true for us: “With God nothing shall be impossible!”
