There is a sense of expectancy in the air! The Holy Spirit is on the move and we want to dive into that flow with Him! There is plenty of bad news and darkness in the world around us, but as Christians we want to keep our eyes on the Ark and on what God is doing to bring in the Kingdom! As the Lord shows us our part, we will be joined with others that have a Kingdom vision and thus the Kingdom grows and is established across the southern crescent of Atlanta, across our state, our nation, and the world.
Upcoming Meetings
We are excited to welcome Phillip and Darlena Fields and their four children to New Gate Church this Sunday (April 1st)! We will celebrate the covenant meal (communion) during the service and then have a potluck lunch together downstairs afterwards to give opportunity to greet the Fields family. Be sure to bring extra food so we can invite the expected guests to stay and join us for lunch. It has been suggested that each one bring a card welcoming them and sharing something about yourself for the Fields to get to know the New Gate family. We will have a basket downstairs for the cards.
Sarah Brayan will be leaving in a couple of weeks for her mission/ministry trip to South Africa. You can read more about the trip and get to know the Brayans a little better by going to their website at www.doors2destiny.com. Sarah still needs to raise $1500 more of the support money she needs for the trip, so if you can help in this ministry it would be greatly appreciated.
This past Monday morning a vision was emailed to us from a young lady in Jacksonville, Florida who knew nothing about our decision to invite the Fields to come as pastors. When she first woke up Monday, she saw all of us at New Gate running in a big Field, rejoicing and dancing and just having fun outside in the fields around the church.
There is joy in the journey!
